Second Blog Post

Hi! Last weekend, I went over to Covington which is over on the Kentucky side. Covington was really cool. It was a really fun place to take pictures at. Here are some of the pictures from that day.

I came across this tavern in a residential part of Covington. I thought it was cool how you could see the orange leafed trees over on the hill. The tavern has a sign with a happy face on it as well as an advertisement mural. Near the bottom of the image is a person. He isn’t really that noticeable in the overall photo. Also, I really like the do not enter sign. It adds some more red to the picture.

This is the same tavern as before, just with a better view of the mural and also it has three do not enter signs instead of one. The photo faces down the road to the left on the first image and you get to see a quaint street with homes. The street is lined with autumn colored trees.

I really like this photo that I took. The plants and trees gives a lot of life to the picture. The subject is the dude that’s walking into the pharmacy. However, the truck pulls away the attention from the subject a bit. The photo might be better if the truck and car weren’t there.

Hello! Welcome to a blog post. I think that blogging is an interesting way to get my photography out there and on the internet world so here I am making my first blog. Here are some pictures that I’ve recently taken.

This picture is of a corner of a parking lot. More specifically, it mainly features the side of some old building in downtown Cincinnati. I really liked the weird grey groovy lines and the parking signs on the building. The building has more character to it compared to the surrounding buildings which feel boring and lack detail.

Here, I came across a second floor door that went nowhere. The shadow of the electricity pole was cast onto the side of the building. I didn’t know whether the street sign added to the image or not and I still don’t know. I took one picture with the street sign in it and one without. This is the one with it in.

I saw the light hitting this garage with some type of cool looking writing font above it. I do not know much about writing fonts. I bet the writing font nerds know what font this is. Anyways, the three lights that descend into the tunnel adds a nice line that leads to the words and I like the blue bag thing on the ground to the side.
